Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken breasts and cook for 5-7 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
- Remove chicken from the pan and set aside.
- Add chicken broth, lemon juice, and garlic to the pan. Bring to a simmer and scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
- Add green beans to the pan and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until tender-crisp.
- Return chicken to the pan and spoon the sauce over the top.
- You can add other vegetables to this dish, such as broccoli, asparagus, or zucchini.
- For a thicker sauce, you can mix 1 tablespoon of cornstarch with a little bit of water and stir it into the pan after adding the green beans.
