One-Pan Sausage and Peppers

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Add sausage links and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until browned on all sides.
  3. Remove sausage from the pan and set aside.
  4. Add onion, green pepper, and red pepper to the pan and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until softened.
  5. Stir in chicken broth and Italian seasoning. Bring to a simmer.
  6. Return sausage links to the pan and nestle them among the vegetables.
  7. Place the skillet in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender-crisp and the sausage is cooked through.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Serve immediately.

Variations:

  • You can use any type of sausage that you like in this recipe.
  • You can also add other vegetables to this dish, such as broccoli, mushrooms, or zucchini.
