Hard-Boiled Eggs and Cherry Tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Hard-boil the Eggs: There are several methods for hard-boiling eggs. Here’s a simple one: Place the eggs in a single layer in a saucepan and cover them with cold water. Bring the water to a boil, then immediately remove the pan from the heat and cover it. Let the eggs sit in the hot water for 10-12 minutes for a medium-cooked yolk. If you prefer a firmer yolk, cook for an additional 2-3 minutes. Drain the hot water and rinse the eggs under cold running water to stop the cooking process. Peel the eggs once they are cool enough to handle.
  2. Assemble: Slice the hard-boiled eggs into halves or quarters. Arrange them on a plate with the cherry tomatoes.
  3. Season (Optional): Sprinkle with salt, freshly ground black pepper, or your favorite dried herbs for additional flavor.
