Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare zucchini:
- Slice the zucchinis lengthwise into thin strips.
- Lay them on a paper towel, sprinkle with a little salt, and let sit for 10 minutes to remove excess moisture. Pat dry.
- Cook the meat:
- In a pan over medium heat, cook the ground turkey or chicken with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until fully cooked.
- Stir in the marinara sauce and let simmer for 5 minutes.
- Prepare ricotta mixture:
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, and the egg.
- Assemble the lasagna:
- Spread a thin layer of the meat sauce in a baking dish.
- Add a layer of zucchini slices, then spread some ricotta mixture on top.
- Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with shredded mozzarella on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
- Let cool for 5 minutes, then slice and serve!
