Instructions

  • 1. Prep the Oven & Pan:
    • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
    • Spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  • 2. First Dough Layer:
    • Unroll one crescent dough sheet and press it into the bottom and 1-inch up the sides of the dish.
  • 3. Layer Fillings:
    • Add half the provolone cheese.
    • Layer pepperoni, ham, and salami.
    • Add sliced roasted bell peppers and pepperoncini.
    • Top with remaining provolone cheese.
  • 4. Top Dough Layer:
    • Unroll second crescent dough and place on top.
    • Pinch all edges to seal the layers inside.
  • 5. Egg Wash:
    • Whisk together egg, pesto, and Parmesan.
    • Brush over the top dough evenly.
  • 6. Bake:
    • Cover with foil (sprayed side down) and bake 30 minutes.
    • Uncover and bake another 15–20 minutes until golden brown.
  • 7. Cool & Serve:
    • Let cool 15–20 minutes before cutting into squares and serving.
