Instructions
- Brown the Beef:
- In a large pot or Dutch oven, cook the ground beef over medium heat until fully browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Add Vegetables & Seasonings:
- Add onion, celery, and bell pepper. Sauté for 5–6 minutes until softened.
- Stir in chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, pepper, oregano, and sugar.
- Mix in Tomatoes & Beans:
- Add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes (with juice), Rotel, both cans of beans (with liquid), and water if using.
- Simmer:
- Bring to a light boil, then reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
- Serve & Enjoy:
- Spoon into bowls and serve with shredded cheese, sour cream, or crackers on top!
